Harrison Ford Plane Crash - Star Wars Star Ok Harrison Ford gave Star Wars fans a scare when he crashed his vintage plane Thursday. The 72 year old actor was forced to make an emergency landing at Penmar Golf Course near Santa Monica Municipal Airport. He was hospitalized with injuries, including a head wound, but is said to be recovering well. Ford experienced engine trouble and asked for an emergency landing. But the plane missed the runway. Harrison Ford just rapped up filming Star Wars The Force Awakens. The NTSB is investigating the accident.
