Ken Whisenhunt fired as Titans Head Coach: Marcus Mariota impact. This is shocking news: the Tennessee Titans have fired Ken Whisenhunt as head coach. I thought he did a great job in forming his offense around Marcus Mariota but as he and the approach were new, I did not expect a winning season. But apparently the Titans did. Still why not wait until the end of the season? I think this will hurt Marcus in that it spells lack of continuity. Stay tuned.
