Lane Kiffin: USC Head Coach Fired By AD Pat Haden

According to Zennie62.com, Lane Kiffin was released from his football job after a horrible USC Trojans loss to Arizona State 62 to 41 Saturday night. Thus ends the Lane Kiffin USC era, and makes those who asked for his head happy.

In all Coach Kiffin posted an 8–5 record his first year at USC, 2010, then 10–2 in 2011, 7–6 in 2012, and finally 3–2 in 2013 before he was released last night. Overall, under Lane Kiffin, USC lost 7 of its last 11 games.

The issue that led to his eventual termination is that in 2012, USC was a ranked a preseason #1 favorite, and went on to become the only USC squad to finish a season unranked after being selected to finish at the top as national champions.
